In some cases, tenants may be charged for a service call if it is determined that it was caused by tenant neglect or if the tenant failed to perform routine maintenance. For example, if a tenant calls and states that their dishwasher is not working and the maintenance tech finds that the only problem was a tripped breaker, the tenant would be charged.
